Multiple talents combined with a lifetime of musical experience makes Darcy Birdsall a top-notch instructor for developing musical skills. Decades of piano study combined with professional piano and vocal work has made her an extremely versatile instructor. For two years she traveled across Europe with the group CHRISMA as a lead singer and keyboard accompanist while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in music. Years of experience as a church worship leader and improvisation artist translates into excellence as her group classes learn vocal, accompaniment and ensemble skills. Her bright and enthusiastic style has made decades of students want to become great musicians! Darcy was instrumental in launching the Northwest Academy of Music in its preliminary years. She is a certified instructor for both the Yamaha Music Education System and Harmony Road Music Education Courses.
